Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment in Preston is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Coordinator / Project Manager to join its growing Projects team. The successful candidate will coordinate M&E projects from instruction through to completion, with healthcare/NHS, commercial or public-sector exposure advantageous.

This permanent, full-time role offers progression opportunities and a competitive salary of £35,000–£45,000.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating M&E projects or building services
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Good IT skills, especially MS Office & Excel

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E projects, planned works and installations.
• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Arrange site visits, surveys, installations and commissioning.
• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Maintain project programmes, trackers and documentation.
• Assist with quotations, purchase orders, variations and invoicing.
• Monitor project progress, costs and deadlines.
• Coordinate RAMS, permits, certification and compliance documentation.
• Assist with project handover and O&M documentation.
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams.
