Job summary

SER Limited in Preston seeks an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Coordinator to join a growing Projects team. The role focuses on coordinating M&E projects, liaising with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, and ensuring on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Building Services, strong organisational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel. This permanent, full-time position offers progression opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience as M&E Project Coordinator or similar.
• Experience in Mechanical & Electrical, Building Services or FM.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E projects, planned works and installations.
• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Arrange site visits, surveys, installations and commissioning.
• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Maintain project programmes, trackers and documentation.
• Assist with quotations, purchase orders, variations and invoicing.
• Monitor project progress, costs and deadlines.
• Coordinate RAMS, permits, certification and compliance documentation.
• Assist with project handover and O&M documentation.
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams.
