Job summary

Optima Site Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Centre M&E Site Manager to oversee and coordinate site activities on technically complex, mission-critical projects in Greater London. You will manage daily site operations, engineers and subcontractors, and coordinate M&E, HVAC and commissioning activities.

The role requires strong health and safety knowledge, excellent communication and IT skills, and prior site management experience on construction, M&E or commissioning projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• IT literacy and ability to manage site documentation.
• Experience as a Site Manager on construction, M&E or commissioning projects.
• HVAC/commissioning experience is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, engineers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate M&E, HVAC and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress, quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and manage RAMS, permits and toolbox talks.
• Attend site meetings and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and on schedule.

Job Requirements

• Valid SMSTS (SSSTS may be considered).
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Previous experience as a Site Manager on construction, M&E or commissioning projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Data centre experience preferred.
• HVAC and commissioning experience desirable.
