Job summary

Optima Site Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Data Centre M&E Site Manager to oversee and coordinate site activities on technically complex, mission-critical projects in the UK. You will manage daily site operations, engineers and subcontractors, and coordinate M&E, HVAC and commissioning tasks to ensure progress aligns with project timelines.

The role requires valid SMSTS/SSSTS consideration, First Aid at Work, CSCS card, strong health and safety knowledge, and excellent communication and

Qualifications

• Valid SMSTS (SSSTS may be considered).
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Experience as a Site Manager on construction, M&E or commissioning projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Data centre experience preferred.
• HVAC and commissioning experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations, engineers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate M&E, HVAC and commissioning activities.
• Monitor project progress, quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and manage RAMS, permits and toolbox talks.
• Attend site meetings and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and on schedule.
