Egis Group is seeking a capable Maintenance Team Manager to lead a multidisciplinary M&E maintenance team on the M25 DBFO network, including the Dartford Crossing. The role focuses on safety, efficiency and effective people management in a live highway environment.

Successful candidates will manage day-to-day operations, ensure adherence to works methodologies, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualificações

• CSCS card holder – Supervisor.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical or electronics trades.
• Experience delivering highway maintenance programs to time and cost.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards in a highways context.
• Competent user of IT systems.
• Current UK driving license.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to communicate clearly and authoritatively to engage operatives and management.
• Ability to write clear briefings and handover notes and keep records.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operation of electrical and mechanical plant at the Dartford Crossing and M25 tunnels.
• Lead safety initiatives, mitigate risks, and model safe working practices.
• Deliver works briefings identifying method, hazards, and controls.
• Ensure activities follow approved methodology and risks are controlled.
• Complete end-of-shift debriefs to resolve issues raised.
• Support compliance with contractual maintenance requirements.
• Line-manage M&E technicians and ensure adequate staffing and resources.
• Identify early risks to schedule and propose mitigations.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure 3rd party accountability.
• Contribute to risk assessments and method statements.
• Deliver toolbox talks and engage the workforce for safety improvement.
• Manage fleet operations including drivers hours and vehicle defects.
