Job summary

Equans is seeking an experienced M&E Craftsperson for Central Middlesex Hospital, London. The role covers planned, reactive, and proactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric, with a focus on water systems and hygiene compliance.

You will log work in CAFM, perform PAT/EML testing, and support site operations. The position is full-time, based at Central Middlesex Hospital, with a comprehensive benefits package and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experienced in planned, reactive and proactive M&E maintenance.
• Skilled in plumbing, water systems and building fabric repairs.
• Able to complete PAT, EML and other maintenance tasks safely and accurately.
• Willing to undertake water hygiene, legionella awareness and Competent Person training.
• Familiar with BS 7671, CAFM systems, PDA records and site log books.
• Customer focused and able to work effectively with clients, contractors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned, reactive and proactive maintenance across M&E systems and building fabric.
• Maintain water systems, including taps, showers and TMVs, while supporting water hygiene compliance.
• Complete first time fixes, minor installations, fabric repairs, PAT and EML testing.
• Maintain accurate records, update log books and use the CAFM system through a PDA.
