Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group, a London-based building services contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator with M&E experience to join its commercial team.

You will review drawings, prepare detailed estimates, undertake take-offs, obtain quotations, and contribute to value engineering while meeting tight tender deadlines. The role supports delivering design, installation, refurbishment and energy-related solutions across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience within M&E, building services or related construction environment.
• Ability to interpret technical information and understand cost implications of different solutions.
• Experience across mechanical services, HVAC or wider MEP packages.
• Commercially minded with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Preparing detailed M&E estimates and cost plans.
• Undertaking quantity take-offs and pricing exercises.
• Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Liaising with the design and delivery teams.
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
• Supporting value engineering and alternative proposals.
• Preparing tender returns and ensuring submissions are accurate and commercially robust.
• Assisting with the handover of secured work to the delivery team.
