Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to own tenders for high-value M&E projects. You will work with commercial, design and project teams to develop competitive, robust bids from enquiry through contract award.

The role requires strong technical estimating knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to challenge and develop tender solutions. Based in Cambridge with a senior leadership focus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator.
• Experience with M&E contracting is desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction costs and tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of tenders for major M&E projects.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes and tender docs.
• Undertake detailed take-offs and costings (labour, materials, plant).
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations and analyse them.
• Produce accurate tender returns and assess commercial risks.
