Job summary

FYBA Talent is seeking a Proposals/Tendering Engineer to join our growing team in the water industry. You will produce high-quality tenders and cost proposals for M&E projects in both clean and wastewater sectors, interpreting technical drawings and client specifications to deliver competitive submissions.

The role requires collaboration with engineering, procurement and delivery teams, liaison with suppliers, and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and complete tender submissions for M&E projects in the water sector.
• Interpret technical documentation, drawings, and client specifications to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and delivery) to gather technical and commercial input.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations for inclusion in tender packages.
• Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements, company procedures, and relevant industry standards.
• Support pre- and post-tender clarification processes, including attending site visits and client meetings as required.
• Maintain and improve pricing models, templates, and cost databases to support estimating efficiency.
