Job summary

Fyba Talent in Manchester is seeking a Proposals/Tendering Engineer to join our growing team. You will produce high-quality tenders and cost proposals for mechanical and electrical projects in the water sector (clean and wastewater), in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and complete tender submissions for M&E projects in the water sector.
• Interpret technical documentation, drawings, and client specifications to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and delivery) to gather technical and commercial input.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations for inclusion in tender packages.
• Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements, company procedures, and relevant industry standards.
• Support pre- and post-tender clarification processes, including attending site visits and client meetings as required.
• Maintain and improve pricing models, templates, and cost databases to support estimating efficiency.
