Job summary

Amentum is seeking an estimator to prepare detailed estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects in the UK. You will review tender documents, develop cost models and pricing schedules, and evaluate supplier quotations.

This role requires collaboration with engineering, commercial, procurement and operations teams to support risk assessment and value engineering. We value strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency and experience in pricing tenders, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience within the UK water sector.
• Experience pricing water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of relevant construction methodologies and delivery practices.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to assess project risks and opportunities.
• Experience managing supplier and subcontractor pricing exercises.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Proven estimating experience within the UK water sector.

• Experience working with UK water companies or Tier 1 contractors.
