Job summary

Bridge Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established building services contractor to appoint an experienced M&E Contracts Manager for an immediate start, overseeing a portfolio across South East London and Kent. You will manage engineers, subcontractors and client relationships while ensuring PPM, reactive maintenance and additional works are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing M&E or building services maintenance contracts.
• Mechanical and/or electrical engineering background.
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract profitability.
• Knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance environments.
• Understanding of health and safety in building services.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of mechanical and electrical maintenance contracts.
• Overseeing PPM, reactive maintenance, and additional works.
• Managing mobile engineers and specialist subcontractors.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Monitoring contract budgets, costs, margins, and overall profitability.
• Reviewing engineer reports and progressing remedial works.
• Supporting quotations and identifying opportunities for additional works.
• Ensuring contractual KPIs and service levels are achieved.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and compliance.
• Managing operational issues and acting as a senior point of escalation.
• Supporting new contract mobilisation and site onboarding.
• Working closely with internal scheduling, finance, and operational teams.

Role Description:
