Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking an Executive Merger & Acquisitions Technical Services Manager to bridge commercial investment plans with asset reality. You will lead due diligence on hotels and development sites, assess condition, constraints, and capex risks to ensure robust, deliverable investments aligned with the Village brand.

The role requires a strong technical pedigree, high stakeholder engagement, and an ability to drive strategy with autonomy across a growing hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in technical due diligence for hotel assets or development sites.
• Strong ability to quantify technical risks and translate findings into commercial impact.
• Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical assessment of existing hotels and development sites, covering MEP systems, structure, fire & life safety, and environmental compliance.
• Quantify financial impact of technical findings for underwriting, capex estimates and negotiations.
• Direct technical input post-acquisition, coordinating architects, interior designers, and consultants to balance guest experience with lifecycle costs.
• Develop robust TSAs and scope CFAs for external partners to deliver on budget.
