M&A Finance Advisory Manager

Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a Manager to join our Finance in Deals (FiD) team, advising on the Finance function implications arising from M&A for Corporate and Private Equity clients pre and post deal.

You will lead engagements across multiple sectors, applying M&A and finance transformation experience to support CFOs and their functions, manage teams and contribute to business development within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance advisory roles gained in a consulting firm or in-house finance function driving improvement in the effectiveness of the function.
• M&A experience including synergy, integration and/or carve-out projects related to finance functions.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and core finance processes (PTP, RTR, OTC).
• Experience leading finance change and transformation projects.
• Strong financial analysis capabilities and ability to extract key insights from large data sets for decision making.
• Excellent report writing and senior stakeholder presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance advisory engagements for Corporate and Private Equity clients pre- and post-deal.
• Advise CFOs on finance function design, processes and controls during transactions.
• Drive project delivery, risk assessment and issue mitigation in a fast-paced deal environment.
• Support business development and contribute to PwC FiD practice growth.
• Mentor and manage project teams, and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues.
