M&A Director: Software Growth & Integration

Job summary

Phipps Cameron, a fast-scaling software group backed by private equity, is building its in-house M&A capability with a hands-on Director who will source, execute and integrate acquisitions that align with growth strategy.

You will own financial models, run end-to-end deals from start to finish, coordinate internal teams and external advisors, and drive diligence across financial, legal, tax and commercial areas while presenting to leadership and investors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Transaction Services, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or a related field.
• Ideally 3–8 years of that spent in an in-house M&A or Corporate Development function.
• A solid record of driving deals end-to-end, not just supporting from the sidelines.
• Sharp financial modelling, valuation and process management ability.

Responsibilities

• Assessing opportunities brought in by the leadership team.
• Owning financial models, valuation work and investment papers.
• Running deals from start to finish - coordinating internal teams and external advisors alike.
• Driving diligence across financial, legal, tax, commercial and operational areas.
• Contributing to negotiation, deal structuring and getting transactions over the line.
• Integration of acquired entities.
