Job summary

Rubix UKII seeks a skilled engineer to join our team. You will strip, inspect, and overhaul equipment, balance rotors, and document work using our standard templates. The role blends workshop and onsite duties with a focus on quality and safety.

You will work within 5S guidelines, adhere to HSEQ policies, and participate in on-call and shift rotations to maintain service levels. Relevant apprenticeship or NVQ/BTEC training is expected, with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• On-time delivery of activity; measured via EOS.
• Completed work to Rubix UKII Specification Standards with zero non-conformance.
• Work completed within the specified time; measured via job hours on EOS.
• Work area compliance to 5S cleanliness standards.
• Completed formal training such as apprenticeship, NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of industrial applications for equipment being overhauled.

Responsibilities

• Work to Rubix UKII HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Strip, inspect and report on equipment using Rubix UKII standard templates.
• Overhaul components ready for equipment rebuild.
• Rebuild units including dynamic balancing of rotors, and record.
• Provide all necessary inspection, job record and timekeeping reports throughout the job process, in line with Rubix UKII policies and procedures.
• Support other job functions as requested by supervision, including site work and operating in other engineering workshops.
• Active participation in on call rota, shift working and overtime requests to ensure service levels are maintained.
