Job summary

The Wirral luxury nursing home seeks an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead a fully compliant service with an excellent reputation. You will oversee clinical governance, budgets, occupancy and staff development, promoting person-centred care and high standards across nursing and residential care.

The role requires strong leadership, a proven track record in nursing home management, and a commitment to delivering outstanding care.

Qualifications

Previous experience as Nursing Home Manager, Care Home Manager or Registered Manager within a nursing home.
Experience managing a nursing or residential care home.
Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Budgets, occupancy and quality standards management.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Provide inspirational leadership as the Nursing Home Manager.
Ensure the care home remains fully compliant with CQC regulations.
Lead, develop and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
Maintain outstanding standards of clinical governance and quality assurance.
Deliver exceptional person-centred care.
Manage budgets, staffing levels and occupancy.
Complete audits and oversee action plans.
Develop and retain high-performing nursing and care teams.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
Promote continuous improvement across all areas of the care home.
Ensure safeguarding and medication management standards are maintained.
Drive excellent customer service and resident satisfaction.
Support recruitment, training and succession planning.
