Job summary

Gilpin Hotel & Lake House in the Lake District is seeking a Spa Therapist to deliver luxury treatments across our spa spaces. You will create personalised wellbeing experiences and support the guest journey from arrival to departure.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 Spa Therapy or equivalent, ESPA training, and experience in luxury hospitality. We offer generous gratuities, meals on shift, and a supportive team in a Michelin-keyed property.

Qualifications

• Recognised beauty or spa qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• ESPA training or ESPA treatments experience.
• Experience in luxury hospitality, spa, or wellness environments.
• Strong communication, calm and caring approach.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Impeccable cleanliness, presentation, and guest care.
• Genuine passion for wellbeing and memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Delivers a range of luxury treatments, including massages, facials, and body therapies.
• Creates personalised experiences that make guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued.
• Provides expert product recommendations and wellness advice tailored to guests.
• Maintains high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and hygiene across treatment areas.
• Supports smooth day-to-day operation of the spa and contributes to guest journeys.
• Works with the wider spa and hotel teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Continually develops knowledge of treatments and wellness trends.
