Job summary

Bvlgari Hotel London in Knightsbridge is seeking a Public Area Attendant to join the Housekeeping team and uphold the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

You will work closely with the Housekeeping management to ensure all public areas, guest facilities and back-of-house spaces are maintained to a safe, welcoming and luxurious standard for guests and colleagues alike. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or similar role.
• Full training will be provided.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, public restrooms and guest facilities.
• Ensure areas are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance at all times.
• Carry out regular checks of public areas and respond to cleaning requirements promptly.
• Replenish guest supplies and amenities in public areas as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and periodic cleaning schedules.
• Support the Housekeeping team during busy periods as required.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Handle cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties to support smooth operation of the Housekeeping department.
