Job summary

Bvlgari Hotel London in Knightsbridge invites a Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all public spaces. You will work closely with the Housekeeping management team, perform routine cleaning, replenish guest amenities, report maintenance issues, and support the team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Reliability, excellent attention to detail and pride in work.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning in hotels preferred but full training provided.
• Good communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and organised approach to tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel including lobbies, corridors, lifts and restrooms.
• Ensure areas are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Carry out regular checks of public areas and respond to cleaning requests.
• Replenish guest supplies and amenities in public areas as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and periodic cleaning schedules.
• Support the Housekeeping team during busy periods.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Handle cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties to support the department.

We are looking for a Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team, playing a key role in maintaining the exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect throughout the hotel.

Working closely with the Housekeeping management team, you will help ensure all public areas, guest facilities and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe, welcoming and luxurious environment for guests and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, public restrooms and guest facilities.
• Ensuring all areas are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance at all times.
• Carrying out regular checks of public areas and responding promptly to cleaning requirements.
• Replenishing guest supplies and amenities in public areas as required.

• Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Handling cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties to support the smooth operation of the Housekeeping department.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and have a strong eye for detail. They will be reliable, well-organised and committed to delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and service.

Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar role within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. A positive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team are essential.
