The Kitchen Porter role at Kitchen (Cheltenham) supports a busy luxury hotel kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, pot wash hygiene, and organisation. You will help keep back-of-house areas safe and compliant with health and food safety regulations, while assisting chefs with basic tasks during service.

This role requires flexibility to work during both quiet and peak periods, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing and pot wash equipment safely.
• Clean crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils, pots and kitchen equipment and store correctly.
• Maintain the pot wash area to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as directed.
• Support deliveries, stock movement and storage.
• Follow health, safety and COSHH regulations and ensure hygiene standards.
• Assist with waste removal and disposal in line with hotel procedures.
• Ensure kitchen spaces remain clean, tidy and hazard-free.
