Job summary

The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, invites a skilled Shift Engineer to maintain luxury standards across the property. Based in London, you will oversee electrical, mechanical and general maintenance, ensuring guest areas and facilities operate flawlessly from day one.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems.
• Hands-on approach with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair works across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, functionality and presentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues.
• Support smooth day-to-day operation of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Work with operational departments to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and statutory requirements.
