Job summary

Montcalm Collection is seeking a Shift Engineer to join the Maintenance team in London. You will deliver prompt, high-quality engineering support across the property, ensuring systems and facilities meet luxury standards and comply with regulations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will engage in planned and reactive tasks, energy initiatives, and provide technical expertise for a seamless guest and colleague experience.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in luxury hospitality.
• Strong leadership and people skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep.
• Ensure guest and staff maintenance requests are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping to resolve issues with minimal disruption.
• Uphold Montcalm's luxury brand standards in all maintenance activities.
• Maintain high-quality mechanical, electrical, architectural, and decorative finishes.
