Job summary

Sexy Fish Manchester is seeking a Business Development Manager on a fixed-term 12-month contract to grow revenue from corporate clients, group bookings, private dining and events. You will be the face of the restaurant in Manchester’s business community, building relationships and driving new and recurring business.

The role requires proactive, target-driven sales expertise in luxury hospitality with excellent communication skills and an established local network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or sales within luxury hospitality.
• Established network of corporate and agency contacts in Manchester.
• Track record of meeting revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business from corporate clients and agencies.
• Build and manage a pipeline of leads for group bookings and private events.
• Develop long-term relationships with key accounts and event planners.
• Represent Sexy Fish at networking events and client meetings.
• Host site visits and show-rounds; welcome VIP guests.
• Collaborate with events, reservations and marketing teams to drive bookings.
• Track sales activity and report progress against targets.
• Maintain accurate client database and monitor market trends.
