Job summary

Daylesford Stays – The Cottages in the heart of the Cotswolds seeks a Guest Experience Host to welcome guests, assist with check-ins, and coordinate requests across The Bamford Collection. You will be the warm, calm face shaping a seamless stay.

Working 40 hours per week including weekends, you’ll join the Guest Experience team, collaborate with Concierge and Manager, and help deliver Daylesford’s natural luxury experience with care, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must have held a UK Driver's License for at least 3 years.
• Support colleagues proactively and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Communicate respectfully and positively with all departments.
• Be reliable and punctual on shift.
• Share knowledge about The Wild Rabbit, Daylesford and Bamford to help educate colleagues.
• Maintain professional appearance and immaculate presentation.
• Complete mandatory and legal training and attend development courses when requested.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, positivity and pride in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Support Reception/Concierge with guest check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate records and accounts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guests throughout their stay, managing requests and bespoke itineraries.
• Welcome guests on arrival, assist with luggage, and provide accommodation and local area orientation.
• Maintain regular contact with resident guests, recognising VIPs and special occasions.
• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, escalating where necessary.
• Promote activities, events, and offerings across The Bamford Collection.
• Uphold The Wild Rabbit service standards with strong attention to detail.
• Ensure all work areas, arrival points, and company vehicles are clean and well maintained.
• Accurately log guest issues on the daily manifest and maintain clear communication across teams.
• Manage guest amenities such as bikes, wellington boots, and device chargers.
• Support Front Office operations, including Reception/Concierge and Night Porter duties, as required.
• Assist with basic housekeeping tasks and minor maintenance when needed.
