Job summary

Raffles London at The OWO in London’s Whitehall seeks a Commis Waiter to work with the chef de ranges on the floor during service, handling food pickup, table service and clearing tables. You will polish glassware and crockery, maintain a neat back of house, assist barista and hosts when required, and ensure dishes are served safely and with guest-focused explanations.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of menu and products in the drawing room.
• Deliver food orders from kitchen to tables rapidly and accurately with dish explanations.
• Serve as contact point between Front of House and Back of House.
• Assist wait staff with table setting and replenishing tableware.
• Explain dishes to guests with professional and knowledgeable guidance.
• Check in with guests and take additional orders or refills as needed.
• Serve food orders and clear used dishes and utensils.
• Ensure safety standards in food service.
