Job summary

Raffles London at The OWO in London’s Whitehall is seeking a pastry and bakery support team member to assist senior chefs in preparing and serving pastries while upholding the hotel’s high standards.

You will follow recipes, keep kitchen areas clean, manage stock and labeling, and be prepared to work across a 24-hour schedule if required.

This role offers exposure to luxury hospitality and opportunities for development within the Raffles brand.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work under pressure in a kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Follow the methods, preparation and recipe standards.
• Be environmentally conscious and work towards a low waste operation.
• Correct storage and labelling of food stuffs, equipment, and dry goods.
• Correct stock rotation of food and ordering levels via correct channels.
• To work as required on a rota basis.
• Additional responsibilities in absence of line manager or senior employee.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned including working in a different department or restaurant, than usually assigned.
