ROLE DIMENSIONS

This key leadership role reports to the Head of Luxury On-trade, responsible for growing the P&L of premium outlets in GB's on-trade sector. Leading a team in South England, including Key Account Managers, Activation Executives, and Marketing Managers, you will build strong customer relationships and expand our brands in the region.

You will embody Diageo’s ambition to be the world's best-performing, most-trusted consumer goods company, forming category-leading partnerships with top outlets. A sophisticated style and presentation reflecting our luxury brand's values are essential.

The Luxury On-trade team plays a crucial role in elevating Diageo’s presence in the top 10% of on-trade accounts, connecting brands with luxury consumers. You will lead a transformational journey to enhance Diageo’s luxury ambitions.

TOP ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Drive internal P&L and market share growth for the Diageo Luxury portfolio in your region. Provide strategic direction, leveraging market data to build winning plans for exponential growth.
  2. Partner with the Luxury Marketing team to embed our brands into culture through outlet activations, increasing talkability and availability.
  3. Establish and maintain senior relationships with owners/managers of key retail groups.
  4. Achieve distribution and execution targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  5. Create an inclusive team culture that inspires and develops world-class customer relationships.

IDEAL EXPERIENCES / QUALIFICATIONS / CAPABILITIES

  1. Leadership experience in luxury or high-end accounts within the on-trade sector preferred.
  2. Proven track record managing influential retail customers and creating new opportunities.
  3. Deep understanding of influential on-trade GB customers and ability to develop effective commercial plans.
  4. Strong relationships with key industry influencers and knowledge of on-trade and third-space venues.
  5. Experience in luxury brand building, collaborating with marketing teams, and making robust commercial decisions.
  6. Category knowledge across spirits and non-alcoholic drinks, with a passion for premium brands.
  7. Advanced negotiation, relationship-building, and P&L literacy skills.
  8. Ability to build cross-functional relationships and interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
  9. Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to grow existing and new customer bases.
