As a Regional Sales Manager covering the South of the UK, you will be responsible for achieving and maximising La Prairie retail objectives. Ensuring luxury excellence through effective recruitment, management, and providing a best-in-class omnichannel experience for clients with a main focus on B&M. The goal is to gain market share within the Skincare category while being perfectly aligned with the brand strategy and roadmap.

Key Missions:

  • Manage a full team of Beauty Managers and Advisors (from recruitment, coaching, and development, to absence management, reporting, etc.)
  • Deliver the annual retail sales targets through effective business strategy & planning
  • Implement and develop the company strategy on all counters & nurture store relationships

Main Accountabilities:

  • Business Planning
  • Contribute to defining sales targets (market and by store level) as well as LE updates with rationale behind the proposal
  • Drive retail growth on all counters by developing or reviewing business plans and event activities, sharing detailed plans twice a year and a FY view at the beginning of the calendar year, focusing on B&M but considering the omnichannel path as client experience is cross-channel
  • Identify new opportunities and ideas to drive sales within brand parameters and tools, and evaluate effectiveness
  • Lead and own performance in the area, providing regular insights and corrective actions, ensuring quality of weekly performance sharing by door
  • Evaluate stock levels of selling goods and collaterals with AM/BM, optimize stock age levels, and implement corrective measures proactively
  • Be proficient with all relevant systems (retail dashboards, QlikView, Syreta, HR Essentials, etc.) and leverage these tools for performance tracking and improvement
  • Communicate opportunities and risks to HO teams regularly and promptly
  • Complete all administrative tasks as requested by HO by deadlines, including quarterly reviews and absence updates
  • Ensure 100% compliance and accuracy of all sales reporting data
  • Fill in store visit reports and share monthly insights for top doors with top management

Team Development:

  • Recruit and induct new consultants effectively
  • Assess and address induction needs to ensure excellent customer service and achievement of goals within 3 months
  • Manage temporary staff and organize training to maximize results
  • Develop and motivate in-store teams to meet or exceed KPIs
  • Regularly assess KPIs with the Retail coach to improve sell-out service and performance

Marketing & Merchandising:

  • Implement company marketing and merchandising programs
  • Oversee in-store marketing activities, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and staff grooming to uphold the company image

Store Relationships & Communication:

  • Conduct regular business meetings with store managers, presenting strategy updates and performance reviews
  • Negotiate local opportunities for events and additional promotional sites as directed by HO

Additional Information:

  • Reporting to: General Manager
  • Direct Reports: All La Prairie BM, AM & BA within designated doors
  • Travel Ratio: 4 days/week, 1 day office/home

Previous experience as an Area or Regional Sales Manager in a beauty brand is essential. Must be located in London.
