Job summary

Hastings Court is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our friendly team in Hastings. You will support mealtimes, keep dining spaces tidy, manage stock and temperature checks, and assist residents with day-to-day non-care needs, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This role requires a passion for excellent service in a care setting, with strong people skills and reliability. A Day shift in a full-time role awaits a motivated candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a similar role within a luxurious setting.
• 'Can do' attitude and willingness to ensure high quality service for residents.
• Customer facing experience including building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal service in resident rooms or dining rooms.
• Refilling water/drink jugs in resident rooms.
• Help set up and clear down tables before and after lunch service.
• Recording and monitoring temperatures of fridges and dining room service stations.
• Maintaining the Bistro to stay clean, organised and well stocked.
• Attending to residents’ non-care related needs (e.g., opening/closing curtains, changing TV channels).
