Job summary

Champneys is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant on a zero-hour contract. The role involves servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to luxury standards, ensuring calm, inviting spaces for guests to relax from the moment they arrive.

You’ll maintain discretion, confidentiality and high presentation standards across all guest areas. Key duties include stocking trolleys, reporting maintenance issues, and supporting broader housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms to Champneys standards.
• Maintain tidy corridors and service areas with discretion.
• Restock and organise housekeeping trolleys and supply rooms.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Respond to guest requests politely and efficiently.
• Assist with laundry duties as required.
• Attend team meetings and training to improve standards.
