Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is seeking a Commis Chef to support its kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional Nobu dishes. You will assist with food preparation, maintain hygiene standards and help ensure a smooth kitchen operation under the Head Chef.

This permanent, full-time position offers a structured environment within a luxury brand, with opportunities to learn and grow in a renowned culinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes to Nobu standards.
• Ensure your designated section is organised, stocked and ready for service.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and brand guidelines with consistency and attention to detail.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, allergen management and health and safety.
• Receive and store deliveries correctly, ensuring quality and stock rotation standards are maintained.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean, safe and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and restaurant teams throughout service.
• Be available to support other kitchen areas when required.
• Demonstrate a proactive, positive and team focused approach to work.
