Job summary

The Milestone Hotel and Residences, part of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is seeking a Commis Chef to join our luxury kitchen. Reporting to Executive and Head Chef, you will contribute to menu preparation, maintain high hygiene standards and support the team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

This full-time role offers a 5 days on, 2 days off pattern, salary around £30,000 OTE per year, generous holiday entitlement and meals on duty, plus a range of development opportunities

Qualifications

Experience as a Commis Chef in a professional kitchen.
Genuine passion for cooking and keen interest in culinary development.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
Flexible, proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the preparation and production of menus.
Preparing all dishes to the required standard and specification.
Maintaining high health and safety standards.
Being responsible for securing the kitchen when on late duty.
Ensuring that sections are kept clean, safe and hygienic at all times.
