Soho House in the United Kingdom is seeking a Receptionist to deliver seamless front-of-house service and support club operations. You will be the first contact for members and guests, setting an elegant, discreet tone from arrival.

The role emphasizes discretion, efficiency, and exceptional guest experience, with training and opportunities for personal and professional growth within a renowned private members club.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of front desk experience in luxury hospitality.
• Experience in private members clubs or high-end venues.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in reservation systems such as Opera or OpenTable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests warmly and by name where possible.
• Answer high-volume phone lines for reservations, inquiries and deliveries.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, hours of operation and amenities.
• Keep reception area clean, safe, and well organized.
• Perform Guest List duties on the floor, club or rooftop when needed.
• Support and resolve guest concerns promptly with management guidance.
• Assist guests with coats and personal items as required.
• Build relationships with members and guests and relay feedback to management.
• Foster a fun, approachable, and professional atmosphere.
• Assist with training new hires on Soho Standards and daily service steps.
• Keep up-to-date on facilities, events, and policies to inform guests confidently.
