Job summary

United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is hiring a Lung Cancer Screening Navigator (NHS AfC Band 4) to support the national screening programme in Lincoln. The role is full time (37.5 hours) on a two-year fixed-term contract, with duties coordinating patient journeys and ensuring timely diagnostics.

You will arrange appointments, maintain patient records and work with multidisciplinary teams, diagnostics and primary care to improve cancer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience in admin/healthcare.
• Experience in administrative or coordination roles.
• Experience in cancer services or screening programmes.
• Knowledge of information governance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patients through the screening and diagnostic pathway.
• Arrange appointments, investigations and MDT meetings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and programme datasets.
• Support performance monitoring and national reporting requirements.
