• Coordinating and supporting the lung cancer patient pathway, ensuring care is patient-centred, evidence-based, and delivered with effective communication across all healthcare settings.
• Tracking patients across the entire cancer pathway, facilitating timely appointments, liaising with primary care, tertiary and surgical centres, and ensuring seamless coordination between healthcare professionals.
• Providing psychosocial support, undertaking holistic needs assessments, and promoting a positive patient experience.
• Education, audit activity, patient feedback initiatives, and participation in network-wide improvement programmes to enhance service delivery.
• Maintaining comprehensive data collection and reporting to support national audits, databases, cancer performance standards, and continuous service improvement.
