Wightwick Hall School in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated lunchtime supervisor to help provide a safe, supportive environment for pupils during the lunch break and to support wellbeing and social interaction for students with SEND. The role runs Monday to Friday 12.10–13.10, with two 30-minute sittings.

The appointment is permanent and part-time, with Grade 2 SCP 4 FTE £26,016; actual £3,037. The post involves working with kitchen and teaching staff to ensure smooth lunchtime routines.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students, including those with SEND.
• Ability to assist with feeding per individual care plans.
• Capable of supervising pupils during lunch in a school setting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure the lunchtime routines run as smoothly as possible.
• Supervise students during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas.
• Support students with a range of special educational needs, helping them access and enjoy their lunchtime experience.
• Assist students with eating and drinking, including providing feeding support where required and in line with individual care plans and training.
• Assist with the setup and supervision of lunchtime enrichment clubs and activities when required.
• Work collaboratively with teaching, support, and pastoral staff to meet students' individual needs.
