Job summary

Morice Town Primary is part of Reach South Academy Trust and is seeking an experienced Mealtime Assistant to join the school in November 2026. The role is 7.5 hours per week during term time (39 weeks per year) with a fixed daily lunchtime presence, supporting pupils in dining areas and on the playground.

The successful candidate should be caring, capable of indoor and outdoor work in all weathers, and prepared to engage with students to promote safety and positive lunchtime experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children is not essential, just the passion to help the children have a positive lunchtime.
• You will be required to work indoors and outdoors in all weathers during the school day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lunchtime and encourage good table manners.
• Assist with wellbeing and safety of pupils at lunchtime.
• Supervise play in the playground and coordinate safe activities.
• Deal with minor first aid incidents as needed.
