Millbay Academy in Plymouth invites applications for a Mealtime Assistant to supervise pupils during lunch breaks and maintain dining hall cleanliness. The role supports safety and wellbeing, ensuring appropriate conduct and a hygienic dining area.

The post is permanent, part-time, term time only (39 weeks per year) with 6 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary is NJC Grade A Pt 3 (FTE £25,614), with an actual salary of £3,696 for the 6 hours/week across 39 weeks.

Qualifications

• To encourage and promote appropriate table manners and behaviour.
• To ensure the safety, welfare and appropriate conduct of pupils during the midday break.
• To ensure the health, safety, conduct and well‑being of all pupils.
• To ensure the dining area is kept clean and in a hygienic condition.
