Job summary

Millbay Academy in Plymouth invites applications for a Mealtime Assistant to supervise pupils during lunch breaks and maintain dining hall cleanliness. The role supports safety and wellbeing, ensuring appropriate conduct and a hygienic dining area.

The post is permanent, part-time, term time only (39 weeks per year) with 6 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary is NJC Grade A Pt 3 (FTE £25,614), with an actual salary of £3,696 for the 6 hours/week across 39 weeks.

Post: Mealtime Assistant

Location: Millbay Academy, 22 Millbay Road, Plymouth PL1 3EG

FTE Salary Range: NJC Grade A Pt 3; £25,614

Actual Salary Range: £3,696

Contract Type: Permanent, part time, term time only (39 weeks per year)

Contract Hours: 6hrs per week, Monday to Friday

To ensure the smooth operation of arrangements for the supervision of pupils during the lunch break in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school. This role will include wiping down tables and the cleaning any spillages, leaving the dining hall clean and tidy at the end of the shift.
