Job summary

Tandridge Learning Trust is seeking a reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to help supervise pupils during the lunch period and promote a safe, orderly and enjoyable break. The role runs 12:00–13:10 daily during term time and involves coordinating with staff to support pupils’ wellbeing.

The post emphasises safeguarding, health and safety, and adherence to school policies. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive school day for children and be part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to supervise and safeguard children during lunch periods.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with pupils, staff and volunteers.
• Willingness to follow school policies on safety, safeguarding and first aid.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils between classrooms, play areas and dining hall.
• Encourage good manners and an orderly atmosphere in dining spaces.
• Ensure pupils stay within designated areas during lunch breaks.
• Assist with safeguarding procedures and reportany incidents as required.
