Job summary

Cutteslowe Primary School is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to help children during lunch, keeping the dining space safe and clean while encouraging healthy eating and active play. The role is permanent and part-time, 5 hours per week during term time (12:00pm–1:00pm, Monday to Friday) with a pro-rata salary of £13.28 per hour.

You will join a supportive team, follow safeguarding procedures, and bring a calm, friendly presence.

Qualifications

• A calm, approachable manner in interactions with pupils and staff.
• Strong communication to engage with children and colleagues.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible team player.
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality requirements.
• First Aid knowledge welcomed; training available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dining areas are safe and clean during lunch break.
• Encourage healthy eating and help children make good choices.
• Support interactive play outdoors and supervise pupils at all times.
