Job summary

Kingsbury Primary School is seeking a Midday Supervisor to supervise pupils at lunchtimes and help manage play and movement between areas. You will work 1.25 hours per day, Monday to Friday, totaling 6.25 hours weekly, in a friendly village setting near Tamworth.

The role requires you to engage with children, support safe play, and assist with routine lunchtime tasks. Full DBS checks and safeguarding awareness are required to start.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to engage children during lunch and outdoor play.
• Willingness to follow safeguarding procedures and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during midday break and manage lunch routines.
• Escort children to and from the dinner hall and play areas.
• Organise activities and monitor safety during outdoor and indoor play.
• Clean spillages and support a safe, welcoming lunchtime environment.
