Job summary

Oak Meadow Primary School in Wolverhampton is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to join the team on a fixed-term, term-time basis (12 months in the first instance). The role covers supervising children before, during and after lunch, assisting with cutlery and table manners, and promoting positive behaviour.

You will also help clean and sanitise eating areas, organise and lead games and activities, and administer basic first aid.

Qualifications

• Must be able to relate well to children and support their individual/ collective needs at lunchtime.
• Applicants must be able to communicate well with children and adults.

Leaders are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor.

We are looking for someone who must be able to relate well to children and be keen to support their individual/ collective needs at lunchtime.

Duties will include supervising children before, during and after eating lunch; assisting children with cutlery and table manners; promoting positive behaviour; cleaning and sanitising childrens' eating areas; organising and leading games, activities and administering first aid.

Applicants must have the ability to communicate well with children and adults.

Applicants will be required to adhere to the terms and conditions of working within a school and be active in ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of children.
