Job summary

Norton-in-Hales CofE Nursery & Primary School is seeking a lunchtime supervisor to oversee the 11:30am–1:45pm lunch period, Monday to Friday. The role involves supervising and helping children eat, engaging with them, and assisting with cleaning the dining hall and kitchen tasks.

DBS check is required, with First Aid training advantageous and training provided. Term-time, fixed-term until 11/10/2027, with interview week commencing 2nd October 2026.

Qualifications

• DBS check required for the role.
• First Aid training would be an advantage.
• Training can be provided to new staff.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of senior staff, supervise lunchtime dining and help children with eating.
• Interact with children and supervise play on the school grounds or in the classroom as weather permits.
• Assist with cleaning the hall and help in the kitchen as needed.
