Job summary

Tyne and Wear Learning Trust is seeking an outstanding School Lunchtime Supervisor to join East Herrington Primary Academy's lunchtime provision. You will help create a safe, inclusive lunchtime experience and promote positive behaviour among pupils.

You will work with the school team to supervise, care for and support pupils during the lunchtime period, encouraging positive relationships and a happy lunchtime environment. Experience with children and a proactive, organised approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Bring fresh, creative ideas to develop lunchtime provision.
• Organised, proactive and confident to manage busy lunchtime demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and care during the lunchtime period to keep children safe and happy.
• Promote positive behaviour and help children engage with peers.
• Work with staff to support lunchtime provision and respond to concerns.
