Job summary

St Michael’s C of E Primary School, Winterbourne, is seeking a friendly Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team. You will help supervise children at lunchtime in the hall, assist with meals, and support play in the playground.

The role requires enthusiasm, reliability and a collaborative approach within our Christian values and Mosaic Partnership Trust. Training and ongoing CPD opportunities are available.

• A dedicated and enthusiastic person who rises to the challenge of engaging and motivating pupils.
• A true team player with excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to develop professional relationships with the whole team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime in the hall and assist with meals.
• Supervise and encourage sensible, active play in the playground and support OPAL play project.

Lunchtime SupervisorContracted hours per week: 1 Hour a day, 12:15pm until 1:15pm - 5 Hours per weekClosing Date: 4th November 2026Interview Dates: 9th November 2026Start Date: As Soon As PossibleWe are looking to employ an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our lunchtime team. The successful applicant will need to enjoy working with children, be flexible, cheerful and be willing working as part of a team.

The post involves supervising the children over the lunchtime in the hall, helping them with their lunches and in the playground, supervising and encouraging sensible and active play through our successful OPAL play project.
