Bright Star Talent Limited is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during lunch breaks and outdoor play, ensuring safety and positive interactions.

You will supervise groups, calmly handle incidents, report concerns, and collaborate with school staff to uphold behaviour and safety expectations. The role suits someone friendly, reliable, punctual, with good communication and a passion for helping children.

Qualifications

• DBS required and Right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential.
• Enjoys working with children and can manage a group calmly.

Job description

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will help supervise pupils during their lunch break and make sure they are safe and well supported.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play
• Helping to maintain a safe and positive environment
• Supporting children with any issues that may arise during lunchtime
• Encouraging good behaviour and positive interactions between pupils
• Keeping an eye on pupils in the playground, dining area and other designated areas
• Dealing calmly and appropriately with minor incidents
• Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of staff
• Helping pupils follow the school's behaviour and safety expectations
• Supporting the school staff team where required
