Job summary

Smile Education are currently recruiting for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join a welcoming primary school in the Wolverhampton area (WV6). This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children and wants to play an important role in creating a safe and enjoyable lunchtime environment.

The successful applicant will supervise pupils during lunchtime, support positive behaviour and ensure children are safe and happy both in the dining area

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Friendly, approachable and patient demeanor.
• Good communication skills in spoken English.
• Reliable and responsible with the ability to manage groups of children.
• Confidence in supervising large groups of children.
• Positive and proactive attitude to lunchtime supervision.
• Ideally previous experience working with children.

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime and play.
• Support children in the dining hall.

• Ensure pupils follow school rules and safety procedures.
• Respond appropriately to minor incidents.

• Supporting children to have a positive lunchtime experience
• Liaising with teachers and school staff when required
