Job summary

Limpsfield Junior School in Sheffield is seeking a lunchtime supervisor to help keep KS2 pupils safe and well-behaved during dining hall, playground and classroom activities.

You will work as part of a busy, supportive team; prior experience is not essential, but reliability, good role modelling and an interest in working with children are desirable. An excellent opportunity to contribute to pupil well-being and lunchtime routines.

The job role:

You will be responsible for supervising children of KS2 age inthe dining hall, playground and/or classroom. Previous experience is notnecessary but experience in working with children is desirable. You will alsoneed to be reliable and dedicated, have an interest in working with childrenand be an excellent role model.

Duties will include:

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall
• Assisting pupils with their general hygiene (e.g.: washing handsetc)
• organising dinner queue and entrance of pupils into dining hall
• Encouraging good behaviour and table manners in the dining hall
• Cleaning up any spillages
• Occupying pupils in various games and activities in theplayground.

You must be able towork well as part of a hard-working team and also be able to work on your owninitiative, to ensure that the children are safe, to maintain good standards ofbehaviour and to supervise suitable lunchtime activities.
